Festival of Erotica opens at London's Olympia

This Annual Exhibition of Erotica will once again fill the Olympia Stadium in London, with new and exciting people and products from the world of erotica. From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd November, the most daring event of the year will see thousands make the trip by bus and underground transport to Olympia in Vauxhall Road, London. It's not Patpong, but it's a good western alternative.
It is the biggest consumer adult lifestyle show in the world, a daring erotoc event that grows yearly in popularity. Nearly 300 of the most adventurous people and products from this "alternative" world are showcased. On stage are stimulating live shows, in the stadium are art galleries, interesting and unusual seminars take place, and visitors have a chance to do some very unusual shopping.
Last year the show was a sell-out and this year promises to be even better. The annual erotica event has been staged since 1997 and aims to give freethinking adults a chance to experience and enjoy a range of entertainment not usually found in mainstream life in the west . The stylish events, products and services in the field of erotica, are all specially chosen to complement each other.
What Artistes will Appear at this Adult Lifestyle Show in London?
Some of the artistes appearing in the live stage shows are Missy Malone, the classic burlesque rock chick, Buck Angel, born a woman but transgendered into a man, Arian Levanael, a wizard with ropes, silks, static trapeze and rings, and Dusty Limits, cabaret singer and comedian. Roxy Velvet (the girl with the props) has to be seen to be believed!
The November Erotica event is now the exhibition with the largest footfall of all UK consumer shows and it is attracting big names in the field to exhibit their products and services. This year sees Velda Lauder Corsets, (makers of items for Dita Von Teese), Richard Larsen Jewellery, and many other sellers of lingerie, fetish wear, sex toys, and items of interest to the visitors.
Apart from the Live Shows, What Else Does it Offer?
Visitors to the show can become Erotica members, something that includes some serious perks!
Great parties are part of what is on offer, and on the opening night, Friday 21st November, there will be a Party to celebrate all things adult and daring in the glamourous Club Coliseum. Tickets cost £40 ($70) per person and feature a Boudoir Room, VIP Bar and Erotica Only Club Room.
On the second night, Saturday 22nd November, the Erotica Winter Ball will take place and this is the party to be seen at. Again held at the Club Coliseum the tickets for this party are £60 ($105) per person.
This Festival of Erotica is the ideal place for a day out (followed by a party in the evening?) if you are daring, or if you are intrigued by an alternative lifestyle.
Entry to the parties is strictly limited to over 18’s.
