New Hotel du Vin Boutique HotelsNew Hotels Opening in Cambridge and Cheltenham from Hotel du Vin
One of Britain's best-known boutique hotel chains, Hotel du Vin, is opening new chic and stylish hotels in two of England's top tourist towns: Cambridge and Cheltenham
The Hotel du Vin chain of boutique hotels is, along with Malmaison, one of Britain's most familiar names when it comes to chic and stylish town hotels. Hotel du Vin already has hotels in some of Britain's best tourist towns and cities, including Glasgow, Brighton, Winchester and Harrogate. This year it opens two new hotels in two more tourist hotspots, Cambridge and Cheltenham. The new Cambridge Hotel du Vin will be particularly welcome, as there is a lack of good quality hotels in the town centre. * Hotel du Vin CheltenhamFirst to open its doors, on July 2nd, is the Hotel du Vin Cheltenham. Cheltenham's new Hotel du Vin is in what was the Carlton Hotel on Parabola Road, just a minute away from the Promenade in the centre of this beautiful Georgian spa town. There are 6 stylish suites, 43 bedrooms and a Bistro opening onto a terrace and garden for outdoor dining. The Hotel du Vin Cheltenham also has the Grape Wine Bar and Grain Whiskey Bar, with what's claimed to be the largest list of Irish whiskeys in Britain, aimed firmly at Irish race-goers who come over for the Cheltenham Festival. All rooms have toiletries from Arran Aromatics ,free wifi internet access, satellite TV and CD players, with CDs available from reception. * Hotel du Vin CambridgeThe new Hotel du Vin Cambridge opens for its first guests on 6th September. It occupies a row of Grade II listed buildings which were previously University houses on Trumpington Street, right in the heart of one of England's most beautiful towns. The Hotel du Vin Cambridge has 4 suites and 37 bedrooms, and the décor preserves some of the building's historic features with added modern touches. Those historic features include the original bread oven, an old well which is located in one of the suites and some of the original exposed brickwork. All the rooms at the Cambridge hotel have toiletries from Arran Aromatics, plasma-screen TVs with DVD players, air-conditioning and full noise insulation. One of the suites even has its own private cinema, while some have roof terraces giving lovely views over the rooftops of Cambridge. There is also a French-styled Bistro with a menu changing daily, a Champagne Bar and the La Roche Wine Tasting Room. * Hotel du VinThere are already Hotels du Vin in Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Glasgow, Harrogate, Henley-on-Thames, Tunbridge Wells and Winchester. New boutique hotels will soon also be opening in York and Edinburgh. *
