If you're looking for cheap things to do in London, why not visit one of the capital's photo galleries.
The popularity of photography as an art form in the early 20th century forced artists to re-invent their profession and revolutionised European art. Talented and invented artists like Pablo Picasso and George Braque created cubism which further inspired music and literature. Several years later came the birth of the Dada movement which was the beginnings of a change in attitude towards conventional art and became a major influence in the history of artistic culture. In today's world, snapshots are taken all the time and in a matter of seconds capture a single moment. They can tell countless stories, be admired for their beauty, create feelings of nostalgia, or simply cherished in a frame. London has several fascinating photo galleries for visitors to explore and all are free of charge.
